Parent Involvement

You can influence the success of your child in school more than any teacher or federal program. As a parent, you can help support your child’s learning by

• Monitoring attendance
• Making sure that homework is completed
• Volunteering in your child’s classroom or serving on parent advisory group
• Staying informed about your child’s education and communicating with the school by promptly reading all notices
from the school or the school district and responding, as appropriate

Parent Involvement Policy

Paper copies of the  LEA Parent Involvement Plan are available in the Parent Resource Center or can be mailed to you by contacting your child’s administrator or the Title I director, Annette Murphy at 770-834-7077.
